What will my journey look like?
Throughout the four days of the Foundation course, you will embark on an exciting journey learning all aspects of nail care.
With a focus on acrylic nail extensions, you will learn the art of shaping, filling, and maintaining extensions.
Not only will you gain technical expertise, but you will also develop important salon success skills such as retailing products and effective client communication.
To start you on the the path to success straight away, we offer you a FREE marketing course, giving you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills to help you succeed in the competitive beauty industry.
Upon completion of this course, you will be fully equipped, and insured.
What will I learn?
Each face to face training day will start at 09:30 am - with an estimated end time of 4:30 pm
On day 1 you'll learn (online):
- Health & Safety in the salon
- Anatomy & physiology of the skin & nails.
- Consultation procedure & contra-indications to acrylic nails.
- Safe and meticulous preparation of the natural nails for acrylic extensions.
- Welcome to Entity Beauty - Meet your nail products!
- Student Kit unboxing
On day 2 you'll learn (online):
- Tip (tips) and overlay (forms) application
- Mix ratio dome practice
- Filing techniques: Shaping, filling, and maintaining the nail extension
On day 3 you'll learn (model day):
- Live demonstrations by your Entity Educator
- Troubleshooting sessions
- Model practical (on one hand)
- Maintenance & safe removal of acrylic nail extensions
On day 4 you'll learn (model day):
- Assessments (both hands)
- ''Demo Delight!'' A secret sneak peek into something new from Entity Beauty!
- Retailing and effective client communication skills

You'll also have the opportunity to take a business or marketing course of your choice to help you succeed in the nail industry. With this course, you'll be equipped with all the knowledge and skills you need to start your career as a nail technician, charge accordingly, and succeed in the nail industry.

All of our nail and beauty courses are recognised by one of the leading accrediting bodies in the Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT), and the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Centre.
Our courses have been the chosen course by thousands of students up and down the country.
After the successful completion of attending our course, you will be sent an official certification. This is required for youth obtain insurance, and also to share with the world that you are a newly qualified nail technician.

Our course offers the perfect blend of online and in-person education to suit your needs and schedule.
Like all good courses, our course starts with theory; information you MUST be informed of before you move into the training space and start practicing. The theory portion of the course is available to you online, giving you the freedom to digest in your own time, and at your own pace - this also gives you the opportunity to fit your studies around your busy life.
The practical part of the course is where the fun begins! You'll have the opportunity to get hands-on experience and put your newfound knowledge into practice with the guidance of one of our trainers in a salon/classroom setting. This unique blend of online and in-person learning allows you to get the best of both worlds of learning.

So where do I start! I have just completed 4 days nail training with Jem! And it was the best days ever!!!!!! Jem is amazing at what she does and also as a trainer. As for me who is dyslexic and can come away really not understanding something I've been taught it's quite hard for me! But it was the complete opposite for me with Jem, she understood my needs and went through every part and made sure we understood every bit of what she has been explaining before moving on, so this was a massive bonus for me as I didn't feel like I was falling behind & that gave me confidence.
